Yesterday was such a good day I could not help but smile. Let me tell you what happened. But before I say anything it was all definitely a God thing!!! Praise the Lord! Well I woke up around 6:40 to start getting ready for my first job (Morley) per usual, every Tuesday thing. I went to Morley worked my 7 hours and came home. I had about an hour and a half before I had to start heading in to Apple Mt. I was sitting at the kitchen table talking to my mom and dad and probably eating something as well. My mom mentioned that she saw a sign at Shapers salon saying that they were hiring for an assistant last week. She forgot about it until Debby Glupker reminded her about it yesterday. So my mom told me about the sign and said that I should go in there and apply for the job. I left right after and headed straight for the salon! I got there and the sign no longer said anything about an assistant position. So I got a little discouraged, but still gave it a shot. I walked in they gave me an application to fill out and then asked me if I had time for an interview today. I immediately said yes and went into a room and had an on the spot interview. I was sooo nervous. The interview went really well and I GOT THE JOB!!!! whoo whooo Thank you Jesus is all I could say as I was walking out to my car. I was soo excited I quickly called my mom to tell her the good news and I was out of breath I could barely talk! I will be starting April 4th as an assistant at Shapers Salon. I am more than pumped! :) So today at Morley I have to put in my two weeks. I am super nervous to do this since I have never had to quit a job in my whole life. But I know that I have a huge opportunity waiting for me and I can not wait to start my dream job! I am trying to keep my apple mt job but I dont know if that will be possible. We will see, but even if that doesn't work out I am soo excited to start this new chapter in my life! PRAISE THE LORD! I thought it was so neat that just a couple days ago I wrote in my blog that he knows what my next car is going to be and he even knew that I was going to get this job before I even heard about the salon. I serve an awesome God.
Congratulations Brooke! You will be great. Hope putting in your two weeks notice went well for you also. That is always hard. I'll keep my eye out for a cute little bug...you just never know.
